Our products

We sell chocolate, chocolate products, and related goods through our website.

We make every effort to describe our products accurately, including ingredients, allergens, weight, storage information, and best-before dates. However, product images are for illustrative purposes only and packaging may vary, especially during limited editions, seasonal collections, or brand updates.

Our chocolate may contain or be produced in environments where allergens are present, including but not limited to nuts, milk, soya, sesame, gluten, and other allergens. Please always check the product information carefully before purchasing or consuming.

01.3

Product Information and Health Claims

Our products are food products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Any information about ingredients, cacao, antioxidants, nutrients, or wellness is provided for general informational purposes only. It should not be taken as medical or nutritional advice.

If you have a medical condition, allergy, intolerance, dietary requirement, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before consuming products containing functional ingredients, botanicals, mushrooms, or other active ingredients.

01.4

Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is accepted once we send you an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • there has been an error in price or product information;
  • payment is not authorised;
  • we suspect fraud or misuse of our website;
  • we are unable to deliver to the address provided.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you.

01.5

Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.

Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you complete your order.

We accept payment through the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.

01.6

Discount Codes and Promotions

Discount codes, gifts, bundles, or promotional offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

Promotions cannot usually be combined unless we clearly state otherwise. Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retrospectively after an order has been placed.

01.7

Delivery

We currently deliver to the UK and selected international destinations.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed unless we specifically state otherwise.

We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, incorrect delivery details, weather, strikes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please ensure your delivery address is correct. If an order is returned to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete, we may ask you to pay the delivery cost again before resending it.

01.8

Delivery of Chocolate and Heat-Sensitive Products

Chocolate is sensitive to heat, cold, and handling during transit. We package products carefully, but we cannot guarantee that chocolate will not be affected by extreme weather or courier storage conditions.

If your order arrives damaged, melted, or otherwise unsuitable, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the product and packaging;
  • a description of the issue.

We will review the issue and may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit where appropriate.

01.9

Best-Before Dates and Natural Changes

Our products may contain natural ingredients and may change in appearance or texture over time, especially when stored incorrectly or close to the best-before date.

Chocolate bloom, slight colour changes, or natural separation in spreads can occur and do not always mean the product is unsafe. However, if you are concerned about a product, please contact us before consuming it.

01.10

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

For most online purchases in the UK, consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving goods and then a further 14 days to return them. However, there are exceptions, including certain perishable goods and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened.

Because we sell food products, we can only accept returns where the products are:

  • unopened;
  • unused;
  • in their original sealed packaging;
  • in a resaleable condition;
  • returned within the applicable cancellation period.

We cannot accept returns of opened food products unless they are faulty.
To request a return, please email us with your order number before sending anything back.

If your return is accepted, you are responsible for the return delivery cost unless the product is faulty or we made an error with your order.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method. We may wait until we have received the returned goods before issuing a refund.

01.11

Faulty or Incorrect Products

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible at info@mantachocolate.com.

Please include your order number and photographs where relevant. If we agree that the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we may offer a refund, replacement, or alternative solution.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

01.12

Allergies and Customer Responsibility

It is your responsibility to read all ingredients, allergen, and product information before purchase and before consumption.

If you are buying products for someone else, please ensure they are aware of the ingredients and allergen information.

We are not responsible for allergic reactions where allergen information has been provided and the product has not been incorrectly labelled.

We reserve the right to remove reviews or content that is offensive, misleading, unlawful, or inappropriate.

01.17

Limitation of Liability

We do our best to keep our website accurate, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

01.18

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, weather events, customs delays, strikes, supply chain disruption, pandemics, technical failures, or changes in law.
